3 Delectable Fermented Cranberry Recipes [Year Round Enjoyment]

I am taking a quick break from talking kimchi to share my favorite ❤️ holiday ferment(s) with you.

Just in time for the holidays... barely!

Cranberry-Orange Relish, Raw Cranberry-Apple Chutney, and Pickled Cranberries

There are three recipes there, but my favorite is Cranberry-Orange Relish.

Not only do I serve it with my holiday turkey, but I also enjoy its tangy-sweet crunch as my “dessert” most evenings.

It feels nourishing for the soul and satisfies any sweet cravings that I may have.

Holly's Tip(s): Grab fresh cranberries from the market when they are in season - right now - and stash them in your freezer 🧊 to use any time of year.

The bacteria that make fermentation happen don't mind the cold of your freezer. 🥶 They will hibernate in there and wake up to perform their magic when you have the time to ferment them into something delicious.

This is a short ferment (5-7 days), so it can be ready by next Thanksgiving Thursday.
